Nose is the most important feature in one's face and lends maximum to one's personality. It may be big or bulbous, small and flat or even crooked. Some are even born with nasal defect. Others get a deformed nose after an injury. There are no medicines which can help change the shape of the nose. Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty) is fairly an old procedure of course refined over the years and is one of the commonest operations in cosmetic surgery.

The operation may last for 1-2 hours depending upon correction done inside. There is no visible scarring since most of the surgery is done from within the nose. The person can go home after a few hours and is up and about from next day itself. Bony correction requires dressing on the nose usually for a week, when the patient is finally reviewed. No repeat visits are required. Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty) is being done regularly at our medical center for the last many years.

The total cost is around Rupees 12 thousand including admission charges etc. Since many of our patients come from far off places it is advisable that they should have around a week at their disposal before getting back. One can stay under one's own arrangement or in our medical center by paying very reasonable charges. It is better to have a prior appointment, particularly if one is coming from a long distance.
